PARIS Enterprise Archive

The PARIS Enterprise Archive is an optional module which allows for the creation of PDF or TIFF documents from the PARIS Enterprise Software Suite to be indexed according to pre defined business rules and loaded into the customer’s chosen data management system (DMS), archive or repository.

The PARIS Enterprise Archive module enables the PARIS Enterprise Spooler to pass formatted documents to a preferred document repository for archiving. PARIS Enterprise Archive will poll the output directory specified in the PARIS Spooler. When a job arrives, a job ticket will be present along with a formatted document. The file is converted to either a PDF or TIFF, and sent automatically to a DMS designated folder.

The PARIS EDO™ console is included as a monitoring tool, to configure, manage, and view progress and error reports.

In Summary

The PARIS Enterprise Archive provides:

• Generic archive feature supports any Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
• EDMS needs to be capable of polling a nominated directory for index files.
• Automatically places documents and their index files into the nominated directory.
• Creates either PDF or TIFF files according to the requirements of the EDMS.
• Index or meta-data may contain any nominated information that is extracted from the original data file.
• The PDF that has been created may be searched.
• Archive names may be created from the content of the input data.
• Date and or time, or a sequence number may be appended to document name.
• Integrated with Xerox DocuShare for automatic upload to DocuShare Collections.
